Life is about being ABLE: Always Be Learning Everything!

When I graduated from High School, I took time off before college. When I graduated from college, I went straight into my new career. No time off, from work...but, plenty of time off from learning. No more pencils, no more books, no more teachers...Oh, I don't even remember the words.

I thought many times about returning to school to obtain a master degree of some sort, but life always managed to get in the way. I soon learned that "Independent Study" was the way to go. No, I did not return to school for a structured degree, but what I did was make a decision to read more. I quickly learned that I preferred non-fiction to fiction, which served me well in the business world. I strive to read notable fiction books regularly, but I tend to reserve fun fiction for vacation and down time. Most of all, I read 30 minutes every morning when I wake. No, not newspapers, but actual books that inspire me. Then I read the news. Thank you Apple for my iPhone!

Recently I read a quote from Stephen King that said something about if you don't have time to read, then why bother writing. I suppose I should look up the quote, but you get the point. I believe reading is fundamental to anything in life.

My current interests are focused on Internet Marketing and new methods of human communication.

Okay, I have been found out - I like to surf the web and text about my finds; but my first statement is all about how you market yourself ;-) See, I learned something.
